I normally don't get too emotional when celebrities die but Patrick's death makes me very, very sad. He wasn't a stellar actor but he excelled at playing the 'regular Joe' from the wrong side of the tracks. To this day, Dirty Dancing is one of my top five favorite movies. As a ghost, a bouncer or even in drag, Patrick was always a pleasure.
It is sad. I always think it's hard when younger celebrities die. It thought his battle was very dignified, and frankly, I thought he would last another year or two. It caught me off guard a little.
