I was a bit skeptical last night when I saw "Up" on your list for Best Picture - especially considering animated features have their own category now, I thought they would concede that one to "Up" and give a "real" movie the last slot in the Best Picture category. But I was wrong! It seems kind of... dumb to me to have Up nominated for both "Best Picture" and "Best Animated Feature," though. I mean, isn't it a given now that it'll win the latter category? The fact that it was nominated for Best Picture and no other animated film was kind of shows that it's already the best of the animated features. It's like announcing the winner before the ceremony.<br /><br />All right. I'm thinking way too hard about this. Also, I'm a bit bummed that "9" wasn't nominated - I really liked that movie.
